Rai University is a private university in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is Established in the year 20212. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses across engineering, technology, management and journalism, mass communication departments. The institute runs the following schools – the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Rai Business School, College of Media & Communication, School of Fashion Technology & Performing Arts, School of Arts, Science & Commerce, School of Law, School of Agriculture, School of Life Sciences and Center for Research & Development.

Admission forms are available on the university website. All students can apply but students will be selected based on merit. National and state-level examination scores will be evaluated. One can collect the form from the campus as well. The application form can be submitted online with a fee of Rs. 500. After being shortlisted, students will be required to clear an interview round. An entrance exam is needed for MBA candidates while MTech applicants can submit their Gujarat PGCET scores.

A wide range of companies visits the university during the placement drive. Aditya Birla, Canon, Neha, ACC, Honda, Winfame, Havmor, Indian Oil, HCL, TATA, Wipro, HCL, Adani, Mitsubishi Motors, Elmex, Crosshore are some of the companies that have recruited earlier. A number of BBA and CSIT students were hired by Maven Infosft and Serpent in the previous year while Mechanical students were hired by KHS.

 

The university is focused on providing scholarships to girl children from underprivileged backgrounds. It has already educated thousands under the DreamZ Scholarship for underprivileged girls, which covers 100% of the tuition fee. Anyone can nominate a girl child for this scholarship. No other scholarship opportunities are available as yet.
